The ORIX Axis Contrast Frame combines a clean white outer ring with a deep black inner cone, creating a distinctive two-tone detail for architectural ceiling lighting. Its round aluminum construction keeps the fitting compact, while the recessed lamp position adds depth around the light source.

White outside, black inside

The contrast between the two surfaces defines the frame.

The white outer section sits quietly against a light ceiling, while the black inner cone creates a darker optical chamber around the lamp. This deeper section reduces bright reflections around the opening and keeps the light source less prominent when viewed from normal angles.

The result is a sharper architectural appearance than a conventional single-color spotlight frame.

Ø100 mm outer size

The visible outer diameter measures Ø100 mm, while installation requires a Ø70 mm ceiling cut-out.

These compact dimensions make the Axis Contrast Frame suitable for repeated lighting layouts without adding oversized ceiling details. Several frames can follow a straight line, grid or other architectural arrangement while maintaining consistent spacing.

Aluminum construction

The frame uses aluminum, giving both the outer trim and inner structure a rigid, accurately formed body.

Spring clips secure the fitting within the prepared ceiling opening and keep the mounting hardware concealed after installation.

Flexible lamp selection

Axis Contrast Frame works with a compatible replaceable lamp configuration, allowing the lighting characteristics to be selected separately from the visible frame.

Depending on the lamp used, designers can choose the required color temperature, beam angle, light output and CRI for each project. A narrow beam can concentrate light on artwork, furniture or merchandise, while a wider beam can cover a broader surface.

Controlled recessed lighting

The deep black cone gives the installed lamp more shielding than a shallow open frame. It works particularly well where the ceiling should remain visually clean while the light itself needs a defined, architectural character.
