Hidden Light Profile Type B – Cove Edge Ceiling Profile

The Hidden Light Profile Type B creates concealed linear lighting along ceiling edges, curtain pockets and architectural recesses. Its aluminium body hides the LED strip from direct view and directs the light toward the surrounding surface. Therefore, the ceiling receives a clean and continuous indirect lighting effect without visible LED points.

Concealed Light with Less Glare

The profile measures approximately 33 mm in height and 25.8 mm in projection. Its curved lighting edge controls the direction of the light while keeping the LED source inside the profile.

Instead of exposing the LED strip, the profile creates a softer illuminated edge. As a result, designers can integrate indirect lighting directly into the ceiling detail.

Moreover, the recessed geometry reduces direct glare and creates a cleaner architectural appearance. This design works especially well in spaces where the lighting detail should remain subtle.

Clean Plaster-In Installation

A perforated flange runs along the profile and connects directly with the gypsum or plaster finish. Installers cover this flange during finishing, so the aluminium fixing section disappears into the ceiling.

Therefore, the finished ceiling shows only the lighting opening and the curved edge of the profile.

For the best result, installers should position the Hidden Light Profile Type B before completing the final gypsum work. In addition, careful alignment helps create straight and continuous light lines across longer installations.

Made for Curtain Pockets

This profile works particularly well around curtain recesses.

For example, installers can position it near the curtain pocket to direct soft light toward curtains or nearby ceiling surfaces. Because the LED remains concealed, the installation creates an architectural glow instead of a visible strip of light.

The same profile also suits ceiling indents, perimeter details and other recessed linear lighting applications.

3-Metre Aluminium Profile

Each profile comes in a 3-metre length. Consequently, installers can create longer continuous lighting runs with fewer joints.
