Linea Deep Surface/Recessed LED Aluminium Profile – 2m

The Linea Deep Surface/Recessed LED Aluminium Profile houses LED strip inside a tall aluminium channel and creates a clean architectural line of light. Its 6063-T5 anodised aluminium body gives the profile a rigid structure, while the diffused PC cover closes the channel and softens direct light from the LEDs.

The deeper body also increases the distance between the LED strip and diffuser. Therefore, it can help create a smoother illuminated surface when designers pair it with a suitable high-density LED strip.

Surface or recessed installation

Installers can use this profile for either surface-mounted or recessed-mounted applications.

For surface mounting, the rectangular aluminium body remains visible and creates a defined linear architectural element. Alternatively, installers can integrate the channel into a prepared ceiling, wall, furniture or joinery detail when the project requires a more concealed appearance.

The profile comes in a standard 2-metre length. However, installers can cut the extrusion to suit shorter lighting runs and custom project dimensions.

Deeper channel for a cleaner light line

The tall internal cavity gives the LED strip more separation from the diffuser than a shallow aluminium profile.

Because the light has additional space to spread before reaching the cover, the diffuser can blend individual LED points more effectively. High-density strip further improves this effect.

For this reason, the channel works particularly well with 2835 LED strip at 120 LEDs per metre. Meanwhile, COB LED strip offers an even more continuous luminous surface and suits projects where designers want to minimise visible LED dots.

6063-T5 aluminium construction

The profile uses anodised 6063-T5 aluminium, which combines low weight with the rigidity required for architectural extrusion systems.

In addition, the aluminium base creates a solid mounting surface for the LED strip and conducts heat away from it. The anodised finish protects the extrusion surface while maintaining a clean metallic appearance.

Diffused PC cover

A polycarbonate diffused cover clips into the upper section of the profile and conceals the LED strip inside.

Meanwhile, the opal-style diffuser softens the light output and creates a more uniform illuminated line. The finished profile suits ceilings, walls, cabinets, shelving, display furniture, joinery and other interior linear-lighting details.
