Linea Wide Recessed LED Aluminium Profile – 2m

The Wide Recessed LED Aluminium Profile creates a broad, continuous line of light that integrates directly into ceilings, walls, furniture and architectural joinery. Its 6063-T5 anodised aluminium body forms a rigid channel for LED strip, while the wide diffused PC cover produces a clean illuminated surface.

Designed specifically for recessed mounting, the profile includes extended side flanges that sit over the edges of the prepared opening. Therefore, the finished installation creates a neat transition between the aluminium channel and the surrounding surface.

Wide Recessed LED Aluminium Profile for Architectural Lighting

Unlike a surface-mounted channel, this profile sits inside a prepared recess. Most of the aluminium body remains concealed, while the upper flanges frame the diffuser and cover the installation edges.

This construction works particularly well when linear lighting needs to become part of the architecture rather than appear as a separate fixture. For example, designers can integrate the profile into gypsum ceilings, wall details, cabinetry, shelving and custom joinery.

The wide illuminated opening also creates more visual presence than a narrow LED channel. Consequently, the light line can work as a stronger architectural feature across ceilings and interior surfaces.

2835 or COB LED Strip

The internal channel supports 2835 LED strip with 120 LEDs per metre as well as COB LED strip.

High-density 2835 strip positions the LEDs closely together, which reduces visible spacing behind the diffuser. Meanwhile, COB LED strip forms a nearly continuous luminous surface and works especially well when designers want to minimise individual LED points.

Because the diffuser covers the complete opening, it conceals the LED strip and softens the direct appearance of the light source.

Wide Diffused Light Surface

The broad polycarbonate diffused cover creates a larger illuminated area than a conventional narrow LED profile.

Light spreads across the diffuser before entering the room, so the profile produces a softer visual effect while keeping the LED components out of direct view. Moreover, the wider opening gives architectural lighting lines greater visual weight within the interior design.

The diffuser clips into the aluminium extrusion for a clean finished appearance.

6063-T5 Anodised Aluminium Body

The profile uses 6063-T5 anodised aluminium, which combines a rigid extrusion with a clean architectural finish.

Its aluminium base creates a stable mounting surface for the LED strip. In addition, the metal body conducts heat away from the LEDs and spreads it across a larger surface area.

The anodised finish protects the aluminium surface during normal interior use while maintaining its clean metallic appearance.

2m Recessed Linear Lighting Profile

Each profile comes in a standard 2-metre length.

Installers can cut the aluminium extrusion to suit shorter sections or project-specific lighting runs. As a result, the profile works for both individual linear features and longer continuous architectural layouts.
