Solar LED Linear Light for Off-Grid Lighting

The ORIXCO Solar LED Linear Light combines a slim 1215mm aluminum luminaire with a dedicated solar panel, LiFePO4 battery and multiple control options. Therefore, the system can operate without a permanent mains power connection.

The solar panel charges the internal battery during daylight hours. Then, the stored energy powers the linear LED fixture after dark. This configuration suits locations where electrical cabling is difficult, expensive or unnecessary.

Moreover, the separate solar panel lets installers position the photovoltaic surface where it can receive suitable daylight while placing the luminaire where illumination is required.

6V 20W Solar Panel

The system uses a 6V 20W solar panel measuring 350 × 350 × 3mm.

Under suitable sunlight conditions, the panel charges the battery in approximately 4–5 hours. After a full charge, the lighting system can operate for up to 12 hours.

In addition, the stored battery capacity supports approximately 2–3 continuous rainy days, depending on charging conditions and operating patterns.

LiFePO4 Battery

A 3.2V 16Ah LiFePO4 battery stores the solar energy.

LiFePO4 chemistry suits solar lighting systems because it combines useful energy storage with stable operation. Meanwhile, the integrated solar configuration keeps the light independent from a continuous AC supply.

The charging and operating performance will naturally depend on solar exposure. Therefore, installers should position the panel away from heavy shading from buildings, trees or other structures.

1215mm Aluminum Linear Body

The luminaire measures 62 × 47 × 1215mm, giving it a long and narrow profile suitable for linear illumination.

Its aluminum construction forms a rigid housing while keeping the fixture visually clean. Furthermore, the elongated light-emitting surface distributes illumination along the length of the fitting rather than concentrating it at a single point.

As a result, the fixture suits covered outdoor areas, sheds, site facilities, pathways, temporary structures and locations where linear solar lighting works better than a conventional point-source solar lamp.

Multiple Control Options

The Solar LED Linear Light supports several operating methods:

• Optical / light-sensing control
• Time control
• Remote control
• Manual switch control

Therefore, users can select an operating method according to the installation.

The optical control can manage operation according to ambient light conditions, while the timer offers scheduled operation. In addition, the supplied remote control gives users convenient access to the lighting system without reaching the fixture directly.

Solar Lighting Without Mains Cabling

This system combines the luminaire, solar panel and rechargeable battery into a practical independent lighting package. Consequently, installers can reduce the need for long electrical cable runs in suitable off-grid applications.

However, solar exposure remains an important part of system performance. For best charging results, installers should place the 6V 20W panel where it receives strong, unobstructed daylight.
