Deep LED Aluminium Profile

The Deep LED Aluminium Profile creates clean architectural linear lighting with better light diffusion than a shallow LED channel. Its deep aluminium body increases the distance between the LED strip and the diffuser, so the light has more space to blend before it reaches the cover.

The profile uses 6063-T5 anodised aluminium and accepts both high-density 2835 LED strips and COB LED strips. Moreover, its rigid aluminium body gives the LED tape a stable mounting surface and keeps the installation neat.

Deeper Channel for Smoother Light

Profile depth directly affects the appearance of an LED line. Therefore, this deep channel works particularly well when the project requires a softer and more continuous illuminated surface.

The extra distance between the LEDs and the diffuser helps reduce visible LED points. In addition, installers can pair the profile with 2835 LED strips up to 120 LEDs/m for architectural linear lighting.

COB LED strips also work well inside the channel. Because COB technology already creates a continuous line of light, combining it with a deep profile produces an even cleaner illuminated surface.

Diffused Polycarbonate Cover

A diffused polycarbonate cover closes the channel and hides the LED strip from normal viewing angles.

At the same time, the diffuser softens direct light from the LEDs and creates a more uniform visible line. Therefore, the completed installation looks cleaner than an exposed LED strip.

Anodised 6063-T5 Aluminium

The Deep LED Aluminium Profile uses 6063-T5 aluminium with an anodised finish.

Aluminium creates a solid base for the LED strip and also supports heat transfer away from the LED PCB. In addition, the profile protects the lighting detail from direct contact with surrounding finishing materials.

Each standard profile comes in a 2-metre length, which makes planning continuous linear runs straightforward.

Surface or Recessed Installation

Installers can use the profile for both surface-mounted and recessed installations.

For example, a surface installation can create a defined linear feature on a ceiling, wall or joinery element. Alternatively, designers can integrate the profile into a recessed architectural detail for a cleaner built-in appearance.

The profile works particularly well in ceilings, walls, cabinetry, display details and other architectural elements where the lighting line forms part of the interior design.
