The Linea Wide Trimmed Aluminium Profile is a recessed LED channel designed for wider architectural linear lighting details. Its broad illuminated face creates a stronger line of light, while the extended side trims cover the edges of the ceiling, wall or joinery opening.
The profile uses anodised 6063-T5 aluminium and comes in a standard 2 m length. It works with both high-density 2835 LED strip at 120 LEDs/m and COB LED strip.
Wide Recessed Light Line
The wider body distinguishes this profile from standard narrow recessed channels.
Its broad opening creates a more substantial illuminated surface, making it suitable for architectural details where the linear light should have greater visual presence. Meanwhile, the deeper rectangular housing keeps the LED strip and internal components neatly contained inside the profile.
The profile sits inside a prepared recess. However, unlike a trimless extrusion, the projecting side flanges overlap the surrounding finish and define the edges of the installation.
Trimmed Edge
The extended aluminium trims create a clear border along both sides of the diffuser.
They also cover the edges of the prepared recess, which gives installers more tolerance around the opening and creates a clean transition between the aluminium profile and the finished surface.
For this reason, the profile works particularly well in gypsum ceilings, wall details, cabinetry and custom joinery.
Diffused PC Cover
A diffused polycarbonate cover closes the upper face of the channel and conceals the LED strip underneath.
The wider diffuser spreads light across a larger visible surface. In addition, it softens direct LED output and reduces the appearance of individual light points.
For the smoothest result, use 2835 strip with 120 LEDs/m or a continuous COB LED strip.
6063-T5 Aluminium Body
The extrusion uses anodised 6063-T5 aluminium, creating a rigid mounting surface for the LED strip while assisting with thermal management.
Standard profile length is 2 metres.
