Product Description

The ORIX Axis Contrast Downlight 12W combines a white outer trim with a deep black reflector to create a clear two-tone architectural detail. Its recessed optical position keeps the LED away from the ceiling plane, while the 70° beam angle spreads light across a relatively wide area.

The fitting uses an OSRAM LED, operates at 12W, and produces 6000K cool white light.

Deep black reflector

A black internal reflector surrounds the optical lens and creates a strong contrast against the white outer trim.

The recessed structure also places the LED deeper inside the fitting. Consequently, the light source appears less prominent from normal viewing angles, while the dark cone limits bright reflections around the aperture.

This combination gives the downlight more visual depth than a conventional shallow all-white fitting.

Wide 70° beam

The 70° beam angle creates broad illumination rather than a narrow accent beam.

Therefore, Axis Contrast works well where the lighting design needs smoother coverage across floors, work areas or circulation zones. Several fittings can also work together to create an even ceiling-lighting layout.

Its wider distribution suits general architectural lighting in residential interiors, offices, retail spaces, showrooms and other dry indoor environments.

12W OSRAM LED

The downlight uses a 12W OSRAM LED source.

Its 6000K color temperature produces a crisp cool-white appearance, making it suitable for interiors that call for brighter, cooler illumination.

The compact body measures approximately Ø85 × 54 mm.

Ø75 mm cut-out

Installation requires a Ø75 mm ceiling opening.

Integrated spring clips hold the fitting inside the cut-out, while the Ø85 mm outer trim covers the opening cleanly. As a result, installers can repeat the same downlight across larger layouts while maintaining consistent spacing and alignment.

IP20 indoor fitting

Axis Contrast carries an IP20 rating and is designed for dry indoor spaces.

The combination of a white trim, deep black reflector, 70° beam and compact recessed body gives the fitting a distinctive architectural character without making the ceiling visually heavy.
