Product Description

The ORIX Axis Deep Recessed Frame is a compact round mounting frame designed for recessed architectural lighting. Its deep internal cone places the lamp further inside the ceiling, creating a more controlled aperture and reducing direct visibility of the light source.

The frame uses aluminum construction and measures only Ø80 mm, making it suitable for clean ceiling layouts where the visible trim needs to remain discreet.

Deep recessed aperture

The internal cone creates noticeable depth between the ceiling surface and the lamp position.

By setting the light source further inside the frame, the design shields it from common viewing angles. The dark inner surface also reduces reflections around the aperture and gives the fitting a defined architectural appearance.

This configuration works particularly well with directional GU10 lamps used for accent and focused lighting.

Compact Ø80 mm profile

The outer diameter is Ø80 mm, while installation requires a Ø70 mm cut-out.

Only a narrow trim remains visible around the opening after installation. Therefore, several frames can be repeated across a ceiling without creating heavy visual elements.

Aluminum body

The frame is manufactured from aluminum, giving the circular body and recessed cone a rigid, accurately formed structure.

Integrated spring clips secure the frame inside the prepared ceiling opening. Once installed, the fixing hardware remains concealed above the ceiling.

Flexible lamp selection

The frame can accommodate a compatible replaceable lamp system, allowing the lighting specification to follow the project requirements.

Designers can select the required beam angle, color temperature, output and CRI through the lamp while maintaining the same visible frame throughout the interior.
