Product Description

The ORIX Axis Architectural Trimless Frame creates a deep recessed light point that becomes part of the ceiling itself. Its round opening sits inside a smooth gypsum body, while the trimless construction removes the visible outer bezel normally associated with recessed downlights.

The result is a quiet architectural detail with the lamp positioned well above the finished ceiling surface.

Deep-set light source

The generous internal cone places the lamp deeper inside the fitting.

This recessed position shields the light source from many normal viewing angles and keeps direct brightness away from the ceiling line. The curved internal surface also gives the opening a softer transition from the ceiling plane toward the lamp.

The frame works with a compatible GU10 lamp system, allowing the lighting specification to change through lamp selection. Different beam angles, color temperatures, lumen outputs and CRI levels can therefore be chosen according to the project without changing the architectural frame.

Ø130 mm architectural opening

The outer size is Ø130 mm, with a Ø120 mm cut-out.

Its circular geometry works especially well in repeated ceiling layouts, where several light points need consistent spacing without visible surface-mounted trims.

The deep form gives each aperture more visual depth than a conventional shallow recessed frame.

Flush with the ceiling

The gypsum body is made for trimless installation in gypsum-board and drywall ceilings.

Adjustable mounting brackets help position the frame accurately before finishing. After installation, plaster and paint continue across the surrounding surface, allowing the outer edge of the fitting to disappear into the ceiling.

The surface can therefore follow the same finish as the surrounding gypsum work rather than introducing a separate metal trim.

Precise alignment matters with trimless fixtures because the frame becomes a permanent part of the ceiling finish.

The adjustable mounting brackets allow the installer to set the position before the final plastering stage. This is especially useful when several fittings need to follow a straight architectural line or a regular grid.

Once finished, only the deep circular opening remains visible.
