Product Description
The ORIX Ceiling Linear Separation Profile creates a precise 12 mm recessed separation between the ceiling and wall. Its extruded aluminium geometry forms a controlled shadow line while keeping the ceiling perimeter clean and free from conventional decorative trims.
The profile works especially well in interiors where designers want architectural definition without integrated lighting. Instead, the 12 mm recess creates depth and contrast through the natural shadow between the two finished surfaces.
Ceiling Linear Separation Profile with a 12 mm Gap
The profile establishes the gap directly through its aluminium geometry. Therefore, installers do not need to form the separation manually with gypsum or plaster.
Its stepped section connects with the ceiling construction while the vertical side aligns against the wall. Once installers complete the surrounding finish, the recessed line becomes the main visible element.
Because the extrusion controls the opening, the 12 mm gap remains consistent across long ceiling runs. This detail works particularly well around rooms, corridors and continuous perimeter ceilings where irregular spacing would become noticeable.
A Clean Shadow Line Without LED Lighting
Not every ceiling recess needs an LED strip.
The Ceiling Linear Separation Profile uses the depth of the recess itself to create a dark architectural line. As a result, designers can introduce a strong ceiling-to-wall transition without adding power supplies, wiring, diffusers or maintenance requirements associated with concealed lighting.
Moreover, the narrow gap suits minimalist interiors where designers want the ceiling to appear visually separated from the wall.
Integrated Aluminium Construction
Contractors install the profile during the gypsum ceiling and finishing stage. The aluminium body creates defined working edges for the surrounding surface and keeps the separation line straight.
Accurate positioning remains important, particularly across long walls and connected corners. Therefore, installers should establish the complete perimeter line before applying the final gypsum or plaster finish.
The black finish increases the apparent depth of the recessed joint and strengthens the shadow effect.
Ceiling-to-Wall Applications
Designers can specify the profile for villas, apartments, offices, hotels, retail interiors and other modern fit-out projects.
It also coordinates naturally with trimless downlights, magnetic tracks and other recessed architectural ceiling details while remaining a non-illuminated separation feature.
