The MEAN WELL ELG-300-24A LED Driver is a high-power AC/DC power supply designed for professional 24V LED lighting systems. It supplies 24V DC, up to 12.5A, and a maximum rated output of 300W when operated from 200–305VAC.
Moreover, the driver combines constant-voltage and constant-current operation with a wide 100–305VAC input range, active PFC, high efficiency, and an IP67 metal enclosure.
Adjustable 24V Output
The ELG-300-24A gives installers direct control over both output voltage and current.
The voltage adjustment range covers approximately 22.4–25.6V DC, while the current can be adjusted from 6.25A to 12.5A. In addition, the constant-current operating region extends from 14.4V to 24V.
Therefore, the driver can support different professional 24V LED loads while allowing more precise electrical configuration.
Up to 300W Power
At 200–305VAC, the driver supplies its full 300W rated output and up to 12.5A.
At lower input voltages of 100–180VAC, the available output reduces to approximately 255W with 10.63A maximum current. Consequently, designers should consider the actual mains voltage when sizing large LED loads.
The high output capacity makes this model suitable for larger linear lighting systems, architectural LED installations, façade lighting, outdoor luminaires, floodlighting, and other demanding 24V applications.
IP67 Metal Enclosure
A rigid metal enclosure protects the electronics and supports natural heat dissipation. The driver measures approximately 246 × 77 × 39.5 mm and operates without a cooling fan.
Furthermore, the IP67 protection rating makes the ELG-300 series suitable for indoor and outdoor LED lighting installations where protection against dust and moisture is required.
High Electrical Efficiency
The 24V model reaches approximately 94% typical efficiency. Active power factor correction also improves electrical performance across professional lighting installations.
At full load, the specified power factor reaches:
- ≥0.95 at 115VAC
- ≥0.93 at 230VAC
- ≥0.90 at 277VAC
Additionally, the driver includes protection against:
- Short circuit
- Over current
- Over voltage
- Over temperature
The series also supports surge immunity up to 6kV line-to-earth and 4kV line-to-line.
