LRS-150 Power Supply Overview

The LRS-150 Power Supply from MEAN WELL delivers stable 24V DC power for industrial automation, control panels, electrical machinery and compatible low-voltage equipment. The LRS-150 series uses a selectable input range of 85–132V AC or 170–264V AC. Therefore, the installer must set the voltage-selection switch correctly before connecting the power supply to the mains supply.

The unit also supports 240–370V DC input when the selector is set to the 230V position. Incorrect switch selection may damage the power supply or connected equipment, so installers should confirm the local supply voltage before energising the system.

Built-In Protection Functions

Installation Guidelines

Then, set the input-voltage selector to match the local mains supply. After that, connect live, neutral and protective earth according to the terminal markings. Connect the positive and negative DC output terminals with the correct polarity.

Finally, secure the unit firmly and maintain sufficient ventilation around the enclosure. Correct wiring, proper airflow and accurate load selection will help the power supply deliver reliable long-term performance.

The official specifications list an operating range from -30°C to +70°C, although output derating applies at higher temperatures. MEAN WELL also provides a three-year manufacturer warranty, subject to its warranty conditions.
